We are looking for Mental Health Practitioners to join our Home Treatment Team. Our Home Treatment Team is part of the new Crisis Care Centre, at Harplands Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent this has been designed to the highest level of specification. This modern purpose designed unit is the central point for all those in need of a Crisis Assessment/Intervention, teams within the Crisis Care Centre include All Age Mental Health Access Team, Home Treatment Team, High Volume Users Team and Place of safety.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent assessment and risk management plans, be able to demonstrate your ability to work as a team player, promote the rights of individuals to receive care that addresses their need in the community. Therefore, good communication skills are essential to the role, the role demands the ability to problem solve and find creative means of addressing individual’s needs. An opportunity for a mental health nurse to work in a pragmatic way to maintain patient’s safety in the community.

Individual personal development will be offered with regular values based supervision.

You can expect Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which is tailored to meet your professional development; individual CPD advice is available from our Practice Education Team. The CPD offer includes the option to rotate within the Trust to widen your breadth of experience, skills and knowledge.
